  1. They are heavy, ugly to me, not as sensitive as my experts which are less money, don’t handle their specified weight ranges imo. Actually, those are both excellent for chatterbaits. I was thinking more about the Amistad XH for a magdraft when I said that. Maybe I’ll sell them both and see what the fuss is about on a nrx+
  2. If you follow my posts you’ve probably figured out that I like to try new things a lot and I trade a lot. I have two rods that I just don’t love. Rod 1- Megabass Orochi Perfect Pitch Rod 2- Megabass Orochi XX Diablo Spec R I use the perfect pitch mostly for magdrafts and shine glides. I use the Diablo mostly for chatterbaits. I need some ideas on what rods to look at to replace these. Fyi I have some others that are serviceable but not the best for these techniques - Falcon expert all around, Falcon lowrider head Turner, shimano expride 72mh all ok for Chatterbait. Falcon Expert Amistad XH could work for the magdrafts. I do not like glass rods. What do y’all think?
  3. My wife and I both work at the police department. She’s a detective, I’m in narcotics. I was at my desk yesterday and she was down the hall doing something. I got up to leave and later when I came back I had this on my desk. ?‍♂️
  4. Maybe the body of water just sucks. Id hardly say mini jig “works great” if it’s 1 in a thousand casts.
  5. Drag a worm
  6. Sounds like all he needed was a spook.
  7. Big difference from 30-50
  8. These are awesome
  9. Love all these, my bantam, and my zillion hd also!
  10. Luke clausen finesse jig in Alabama craw in the fall.

  12. My favorites from the BASS link: Spro CJ Flip SK Gravel Dawg SK J300 deep sinking jerkbait War Eagle Jiu Jigsu Chatterbait Elite EVO Berkley Nessie All the rapala plastics Zman Mulletron and the SK yellow lens
  13. Improved clinch is all I’ve ever used with zero issues. 6lb to 50lb, mono, braid, fluorocarbon. Improved clinch, wet before tightening.

    Barbs

100% accurate Exactly why I go barbed. It’s funny to me that bass eat other fish and without a doubt get spined all the time by fins, eat crawfish and without a doubt get poked and pinched, eat snakes and without a doubt get bit, and you think you’re hurting that fish that much more with a barbed hook. Those ” living, feeling animals” do not have feelings like a human. Maybe fishing isn’t for you if you’re that worried about hurting a fish.

  16. same and i don’t agree I have curado 200s, curado 150mgls, new bantams, and new Mets. All amazing.
  17. Same. They go in the trash and I’ve never had a problem selling reels without them. Huge waste of space.
  18. The eye crosser is the same as the head Turner right? One of the best!
