  1. Send any unused GP my way please.
  2. Man I have zero problem with anyone financing a boat if that’s what they want to do but there’s no way in hell I’d put It on a credit card. Even worse, multiple credit cards like It sounds like you would do. That’s a terrible idea. Don’t do It.
  3. Same!
  4. I don’t think It matters in any way. Just a confidence thing. I put all my green pumpkin varieties in a gallon zip lock and reach in and grab whatever I grab.
  5. Keep in mind I like a more powerful rod than most do. My preference is always thin, light rods, with lots of power. I mainly use It for 1/2 oz weight Texas rigs with a rage bug type bait or 10” power worm. Right now I have a half oz jig with sweet beaver trailer tied on. I’ll never use anything up to 2oz on It but It handles these extremely well. I had a 745 for the same things broke It so when I replaced It I got the 746 for more power. I prefer It.
  6. They don’t do that anymore.
  7. I got some Japan Braid. It was a mental thing but I didn’t trust It because It was so thin.
  8. Can’t pin point It but for pitching jigs and such Around, I just like fc better.
  9. I just can’t see how multiple units in a bass tournament could be beneficial or anything more than a pia to deal with. So I don’t really care. I don’t care about musky tournaments. You can argue that on a musky forum.
  10. Interesting
  11. Sealed 5 tonight. Three changed the color to darker tan. I guess you’ve been luckier than everyone on the thread. I don’t mind the color change though. Better than how It looks when it’s dirty. Any pictures?
  12. Hahaha I love it
  13. @Delaware Valley Tackle
  14. Very true @Team9nine lol
  15. Ok smart a. It’s more just my thoughts on how marketing suckers the consumers when we could do just fine with a few proven lures. More of a rhetorical question. But thanks.
  16. Found my big senkos. This is what I’m talking about:
  17. Swim baits and topwaters… Dobyns 734c in the the line you can afford. Sierra or Fury to save a little.
  18. I watch a lot of tournament fishing and I’ve noticed that the hammers that get the coverage are always throwing mainstays- bladed jig, spinnerbait, t-rig, senko, shakey, frogs, some buzzbait, crankbaits, jerkbait, drop shot depending on the guy…. Might have missed some but that’s about It. What I don’t see are dark sleepers, sleeper gills, weird topwaters like hellraizers and whopper ploppers or rats, crazy colors of all shades, geecracks, cover scat, no 15+” magnum worms, etc…. Kind of makes you wonder why we buy so much gear when the biggest tournaments in the world with the best anglers are won with senkos and chatterbaits and some roboworms. Lol PS- I’m currently watching Redcrest so if you’re planning to say well “so-and-so just won Redcrest with a savage gear anaconda” please no spoilers.
  19. Stripping the braid off these. Couldn’t stand It today.
  20. Man if I could just go to rock/metal concerts, buy a Harley (sold mine in 2015), and bass fish all over the country and never work again, I’d be a happy man.
  21. @Eric 26 I’ve seen A LOT of shows and the best I’ve seen was papa roach, Korn, then Volbeat. Evanescence killed It too. She can belt It.
  22. Took my buddy who doesn’t bass fish out today to Possum Kingdom. He’s not that experienced in fishing in general. I wanted to get him on some fish but told him up front I’m no guide so no guarantees. Air temps 45, water 53 when we got on the water. Started fishing at 830. I had us throwing chatterbait and swim jig for an hour with not one bite. About 930 I was feeling some pressure, not wanting him to skunk. (I’m used to It). I broke out the spinning gear and tied on some weightless zoom flukes. Turned out to be a pretty good move! Fished until 1130 with 10 fish including my buddy’s personal best. Just babies for me. He caught two others not pictured.
  23. Also breakfast this morning on a tortilla lol
  24. Lunch yesterday ?
