Back in the day I was big in to kayak fishing. Have owned 3 ocean kayaks, a wilderness systems, a Viking, and 5 hobies. Hobies were my favorite hands down. I used to own a hobie adventure (not the island). This was a 16’ rocket. Went up to 5 miles offshore in Florida in It and all over the marsh. Amazing amazing kayak. They eventually renamed It the Revo 16 and then discontinued It. Guess not many wanted long touring/fishing kayaks. Today, if I went back to kayak fishing and since i picked up bass fishing, I’d get an outback for sure.

I like them. I don’t bomb cast most techniques. I had the same reel as you and don’t see how you ran out of 10lb Braid on a ned rig.

I keep a camping pillow, sleeping bag, hammock, and backpacking tent in my truck 100% of the time. Most of the time I just sleep on the deck of my boat. Sometimes I use the tent or hammock. Every once in a while I’ll throw a cot in the truck but not a necessity for me. Right now I have a tiny 70 degree summer backpacking sleeping bag in there. I have a 30 degree mummy bag for winter. @GoneFishingLTN

Here’s a good thread. FYI I tried the 150 for 1-3 oz swimbaits and It didn’t feel braked enough. Someone will probably disagree but It just didn’t feel right for over 1oz baits. 200 is perfect.

Yeah that’s probably what mine would be too. I always try to look for a “flat” spot on top of a point but I could see how It could be looked at just as a point. I’ve never had any luck on my lakes if there wasn’t ledges very close to the flat part.
