The lower gear ratio Tatula CT’s have seemed smoother than the higher grlear ratio ones I’ve owned. The higher geared ones seemed to be noisy on retrieve
I like the Cara better. I agree with Padon about lower priced Loomis rods. Which is crazy to say calling a rod that price as lower priced but for Loomis that’s what it is. GLX and up is much much better but much more expensive too. I’ve fished both and I just like the feel and action of the Falcons much better. They do seem to consistently fish above their price point.
I’m looking at picking up a Poison Adrena. Mainly to throw Tx rigs from 1/4-3/8. Has anyone used the 7’2” hvy or the 7’3” medium heavy for this. Or have you tried to Carolina rig with either of them?
Also, is there a rod in this lineup that you like for squarebills?
Thanks
I’m Jeremy. I’ve been bass fishing my whole life. Was fortunate to live close to Toledo bend for 8 years. Now I live in Southwest Louisiana. Do more feed fishing and flounder fishing now, but still get up to the Bend when I get a chance.
