    That is true . But I always figured you would fight a lunker with the pole to help minimize the risk of breaking your line either way because your pole is the only give between the fish and your line.

    ;DThat is exactly why I only use spinning reels. I think they work fine for all lures if you have the right action rod and spinning reel.

    If your strong hand is your right, then that is were your rod should be. Remember, you dont fight the fish with your reel you fight it with your rod. Tight Lines
