I love my Bajios so much I have two pairs, but they're no less expensive than the other guys. However they're not Luxottica-owned so that's nice.

Ark Gravity's (3, 5, 7) come in a 5.4. I picked up a G5 in the 5-speed for mid-deep cranking but admittedly have not used it yet as I'm iced out.

I'm curious how they'll choose to restock all the inventory they previously used on Fenwick.

Gimmick: "a trick or device intended to attract attention, publicity, or business, often with little intrinsic value" I think some folks ITT are stretching the definition of "gimmick" ITT. I suck with a jerkbait, I know it's not a gimmick. I hate fishing a drop shot, but that's a proven technique for fresh and saltwater fish alike. JMO!

I have the 7'2 M/F which is all graphite. All I've thrown on it so far are small keitechs but it has quite a soft tip so I'm gonna mess around with some other moving baits.

Materials... lighter and stronger, or more rigid. Don't see this slowing down anytime soon. I also suspect we'll see continued improvements with digital assist, control.

THEN after messing around I realized that once the code was entered, anything I added straight to my cart would be discounted. Didn't even need the wishlist function. If you want to avoid the bait monkey DO NOT check out the "wishlist sale" from Omnia you received by email. It would be a terrible decision to add that code to your cart and start poking around. I totally do not recommend adding items from usually excluded manufacturers, or even items already marked down on sale like the 25% off senkos. Also definitely do not add already discounted PRO Member items such as the Okuma Hakai which ended up being $97 in my cart. 🐒🐒

I really want to get both the Curado and SLX in hand to compare... the feel in hand is everything for jerkbaits and topwaters so I'd sacrifice some features if it felt better. That's part of my question... what would a new Curado 70 include that the SLX 70 A doesn't? Maybe the answer is nothing (for now) and that's why we won't see one soon. Shimano updating the SLX 70 before the Curado was probably them answering that question.

I know they released the SLX 70 "A" to add MGLIII and Silent Tune. I believe it's also now a true 70-size frame. The Curado MGL 70 K is several years old now and at MSRP I'd argue the SLX is a better buy. If so, any idea what features it would have over the SLX? Or will they even bother?

Wow I moved here a couple years back and had no idea they stocked lakes with salmon. But I'm way down in south jersey so that's probably why I can't imagine salmon fishing here. I've gone salmon fishing on Lake Michigan and we stocked our freezer for months. How did it go?
