Here's a good video on the SLX lineup. I'm not crazy about the standard $99 SLX, although hard to beat at that price. The SLX XT is a much nicer reel for a little more $.

The St Croix Triumph comes in 6' and 6'6". Fantastic rod for $100ish.
I've got a lot of new, unopened baits, especially crankbaits, in original packaging? How are you all storing baits in bulk in their original packaging?
Looking for recommendations for a topwater casting rod 6'8" or shorter in Medium / Moderate Fast.
Would be nice to have:
-Made in USA
-Cork
-Split grip
ML, Light, and Ultralight casting rods, with quality BFS reels, have allowed me to completely eliminate spinning rigs from my arsenal. I no longer use spinning gear at all.
It's been a long time since I've purchased a rod longer than 6'8". I realized I was naturally gravitating toward the shorter rods (below 7') and unintentionally avoiding the 7' and up rods in my arsenal. I really wish you could still find production rods between 6'0" and 6'6", but there aren't many.
Are the Avid X's you have spinning rods? I don't recall the Avid X casting rod being offered in ML, although I always wanted that option.
With Yerger gone, as well as the staff from the Florida manufacturing facility, I'm wondering who in Ohio has the expertise required to manufacture rod blanks?
