John Haggerty

I'm new to big bass fishing here at Poga. Over the next few months I would like to try some topwater other than frogs. Any help you can offer would be great. I'm thinking Devil horse's and Wopper Ploppers (I own none of either). If I did get a few of those, what colors/patterns/size would you suggest? Other suggestions would be great. Also, what sized rod and line for my thinking? Thanks in advance, John

Folks, I now have a trailer on Lake Isotokpoga. I've been mostly been working on it, so only getting so much time to fish. Now I got time and am looking for suggestions to specific patterns and tackle to get me away from what has been working. The last four months I've been fishing mostly the same. 6" Senkos, 1/2 oz. tungsten, 65# braid and 4/0 EWG. I've been doing fairly well working in the spatterdock, but need to branch out. With the next three months coming up, can you offer a couple of things I might want to try? Thanks in advance, John
