  1. Thanks guys for the info I will try the Bounce sheets this year and see what happens.
  2. Hi fellas, Just wondering if anyone has good advice as to how to keep mice out of your stored boat in the winter time?? I used moth balls last year, seamed to work but every time I open my rod locker I about pass out from the smell!!
  3. I'm sure there are many ways to use a drop shot, but the way that has been working for me has been Deep outside grass 10' to 15' with a 4" senko worm rigged wacky style. Tears them up!!
  4. Remeber a bad day on the water is still better than a good day at work!! I fully expect to see another picture of a wopper!! Lots of luck
  5. Welcome David, you have come to the right place to help you learn about fishing!!
  6. I would say a 6'6" or a 7' rod medium action spinning rod. I prefer 7'. I think you get a better feel out of it and you can cast farther. Just remember it all depends on how much you want to spend. In most cases the more the rod costs the better the rod. IE St. croix and Glomis Happy hunting
  7. Shaky Head Drop shot rig Stay on the deep side of the weed edges!!
  8. If it works for you...... use it!!
  9. I always try to stop my frogs in open spots in the vegetation and lilly pads and let it fall. Catch alot of fish this way. When it falls shake your rod tip and this will give the frog action while it is just sitting there!
  10. One of the best baits I have found is a 1/2 to 5/8 black spinner bait with a single black nickle blade. Or a jig and pig with a big rattle! :D
  11. I'm with you I can not catch bass at night on topwater either. I stick to black spinnerbaits
  12. Need help. First question If I am catch good bass 2.5-3 lbs down in the weeds on a 5" senko worm, what would you recomend trowing to catch a good 5 lb kicker in those same weeds?? Also had a battery go dead on me today in a tournament, My livewells quit working so i weighed in an hour early so my fish would not die. I believe it cost me placing in this tournament. Useually 13 lbs will win you some money, but not today. Any recommendations on a good cranking battery that will run my livewells for a 7 hour tournament?? >
  13. What a story that is awesome!!!!!!! Whats next catching them on hookless crankbaits. ;D ;D way to go!!
  14. We call it a dog fish (bowfin) Your correct nasty teeth!!
  15. Welcome abord John. You have come to the right place if you want to learn!! ;D
