  1. I use a 7' PR844S Loomis GL3 spinning medium action paired with a Pflueger supreme reel spooled with 6 or 8 lb Cajun line. Just my 2ct. Oh and I like Conrad Hybrids...craw in particular. Also the Berkly bungee tail worm.
  2. Any opinions about a sensitive wormin rod for under 100 bucks.... my choice is the All-Star TAS-786C. Can catch it at BPS for 99.00 reg and 85.00 on sale.
  3. WOW!! Not enough can be said about how unique a 31" bass is. Super fish and a huge congratulations on the catch of a lifetime. ;D Now where exactly did you say that "spot" was? JK
  4. Not enough can be said for time on the water, but don't just go out to catch fish, go out to enjoy the time on the water. Now that being said here is something to try next time you are out. Instead of pulling into a cove with a ton of standing timber try to find one with a balance of chunk and timber with axcess to deeper water this way it will give you a variety of cover to hit without running all over the lake, Then once you find out what structure the fish are relating to you can concentrate on those with different techniques untill you find the one that is working best. That should eliminate alot of water so you don't kill time fishing where they ain't. P.S. A map helps a ton.
  5. Anyone fishing the cystic fibrosis tourament the 28th of April? If you are send a message and Iwill keep an eye out for ya.
  6. Hey all Seymour MO here about 30 min east of Spfd. on 60 highway. I fish Pomme, T-Rock, Norfork, Bullshoals every chance I have send me a PM if you are in the area or are looking for a bit of info on the lakes and area.
  7. Catt, Im not sure on the speed of the retrieve but rebel makes a chart. grasshopper with a nice rattle and covers down to around 4 feet also make a teenycraw in a deep diver that go's to around 6 feet. I would try the craw in brown with an orange belly. Hit the ends of the riffles where the water just starts to slow and cast around the rocks there.
  8. Hello everyone I been reading this site for ages but just now registered. :-[ I just have a question that has been bothering me since getting my rear handed to me by my partner last weekend. When you guys are fishing texas rigs do you prefer to drag your bait along untill you contact structure or cover then hop it or do you reel the bait along the bottom untill make contact then hop it?
