  1. Got it all worked out. Had a mental lapse which caused me to post lol. Thanks for the help
  2. How would you pair the following rods and reels and for what applications? Chronarch MGL 8.1 Curado 7.4 JM Platinum 8.3.1 JM Platinum 6.8.1 Tournament MB 7.5.1 Favorite Rush 7 ft MH Fury 703c Champ 704c Daiwa XT 7ft MH BPS Crankin Stick BPS Carbonate 7ft
  3. Just got my new Nasci in the mail today and can't get the handle to tighten down for the life of me. Is there a trick to getting it to stick? Just when I have it tight, one little movement the other way completely unhinges it and lets the spool run freely. Anyone have any tips or experienced this issue before?
  4. Got 2 used JM Platinum reels, one 8.3 and one 6.8. The 8.3 casts like a dream, however, the 6.8 doesn't seem to cast at all. Have same settings on both but just seems like the spool stops on it's own about 15-20 yds into the cast and the bait just falls out of the sky. Don't think its a tension issue as I have it set the same (same lure and rod. Could it be internal? Or is there anything I can lube or clean out that might help out?
  5. I typically prefer 7'0, as the last 7'3 rod I had (Silverado) felt like it was 10'. May be a weird question but how does the Dobyns feel/look. Is there a noticeable difference in performance between the 734 and 704? Doing some reading seems like people always go for the 734
  6. I do want to add I prefer a split cork handle as well
  7. Looking for a rod to pair with a Shimano Chronarch MGL 8.1 to use mainly throwing buzz baits and other top water like spooks/whopper ploppers. Still fairly new and not sure which direction to go so definitely up for some suggestions around the $150-200 mark. The 2 I've been looking at are: - Dobyns Sierra 704C - Falcon Expert 6'10 H Head Turner
