  1. hello guys, I would like some advice on the best lures (maybe floating ones) to use in carolina rig. I emphasize the term floats because personally I have noticed better results on floating lures, rather than on the classic sinking soft lures. So far I have had the best results with the zman lizard. But I would like to try other baits as well, but I don't know if straight worms (without appendages) can still be effective to be used with this technique. Thank you for your kind attention and for your availability. Best regards.
  2. Hi, I personally recommend the power pro v2. I use it mainly in bass, on casting reels, with a diameter of 0.28mm (the minimum you have to start from if you want to prevent the coils from sinking into the reel). The best I have tried so far in terms of quality / price ratio. Best regards.
  3. As mentioned, I thought that the new nrx + were released to replace the conquest, so I asked for information about it ... Anyway, no, I am happy with the canonical lengths of 7 'and 7'6 ". Regarding the 843c, I would like to know if in your opinion (as 1 / 4-3 / 4oz power), it is good for the back sliding technique with 1/2 oz lures (es: dynagone neo ik) primed texas, with 14lb fluoro. Thanks you very much. Best regards.
  4. Hi, I use the jdm version which you should find at $ 300. The American version never tried, but I think it changes little. As mentioned the best reel with quality / price ratio ever tried so far. Best regards.
  5. Hi, as a reel I recommend the new metanium 20. It launches really far, starting from 1 / 4oz. In addition to being robust, because it is made of monocoque. Personally I believe the millet reel as value for money. DC are only useful in headwinds.
  6. Thank you so much for the advice. I really believe that I will favor the purchase of the 843c, since I am looking for an allround rod for medium-light applications. Unfortunately, the 842c here in Italy is difficult to find, if not made to order. Looks perfect as a jerk, neko and wacky rig rod. If you have FB or IG we can exchange a more direct contact. It is always a pleasure to deal with American bass anglers. Best regards.
  7. Thank you so much for your answer. Yes, I was aware of the construction features of Conquest and nrx +; but I thought that the new nrx + had come out and then replaced the conquest as well. Because maybe the latter have not had a great deal of fishermen (at least here in Italy almost no one owns them). Personally I use graphiteleader vigore '20 rods and evergreen (both orion and kaleido inspirare). But I consider the conquest to be on the same level as these rods. I also prefer the more allround and longer rods, so also in this case the conquest mbr is the master. I hope I was clear, because i don't speak english very weel. Thank you so much. Best regards.
  8. Good morning guys. My name is Pasquale and I am an Italian bass angler. I thought about registering on an American forum since surely you can give me some info on American rods. In particular I would like to understand the differences between the conquest mbr and the new nrx +; if the latter are more successful than the conquest or not. I state that I already own a conquest 903c (which I consider to be one of the best rods) and I would like to take another conquest rod, but seeing the new nrx + I didn't understand if they were born to replace the conquest or not. Thank you very much for the attention and availability. Best regards.
