I'm retired 82 and grew up bass fishing in Oklahoma and Kansas mostly, with canoe trips to Rainy Lake and Lake of the Woods, Ontario, Canada. I am planning to move to the triangle area soon as my son has settled his family there. I would like to find out where the best location would be in the triangle that would be closest to decent bass fishing. I once wrote a book, Guide to Far West Fishing by me, Louis Wienecke back in 1973.
