  1. If everything fails,I always try the ole 3" white grub with a 1/8 jig head. Seems to work when nothing else will
  2. A T-Rigged Googan Baits Craw or a Zoom red/black T-Rigged ribbon tail
  3. If I'm using a T-Rigged craw I can bring right to bass and they won't even notice it, if I throw a white 3" grub, they notice but don't bite. These are creek bass. What should I try And techniques for craws?
  4. I basically only fish creeks because I have no bass boat, that's the dream. But until then, I'll make do
  5. I live in Middle Tennessee And do a lot of creek fishing. I'm looking for advice on creek fishing and the do's & dont's. I usually use a cheap spinning reel with a med/heavy old school Ugly Stik, on 12 lb flourocarbon. I seem have a little luck with Texas Rigged Craws, and Texas Rigged ribbon tails. I'm searching for an experienced creek fisherman to basically give me tips. Is] how to find them how to catch them once found what baits to use depending on the color of water and season and month . My buddy can throw in 2 casts after I've fished for hours on the spot and score a 4.1 lb smallie in 5 seconds. I'm obviously doing something wrong.
  6. I've gotten into fishing almost everyday this year, atleast 3-4 days a week. Right now I'm just fishing the local creeks which produce some healthy smallies, red eyes (rock bass) and gar. I'm located in Middle TN. I usually use a Texas Rigged Craw, or 3" grub on 1/8 head. I've also had luck with Texas Rigged ribbon tails. Are there any things I should know about the behavior of bass in creeks? Any specific baits? Rigs? Techniques?
