  1. I broke off two LM that would have been PB's on 20# Invizx. Both 7# +. Those are giants in OH, and are few and far between. I may never stick one that big again. I swore off flouro all together after the 2nd. Invizx also broke twice in FryDog62's line stretch test.
  2. Same story with P-Line 100%, Red Label and Invizx IME.
  3. I'll pay for the upgrade over switching them out myself given the choice.
  4. I own a bunch of 'em but I only crappie fish with spinning these days. Curado BFS on a 7'1" ML Phenix Feather, and a Curado MGL 70 on a 7'2" M F Ark Cobb handle my finesse stuff.
  5. I've never seen any reviews touting it's casting distance. The general concensus seems to be it's mediocre in that dept. It's no rocket launcher, but I get all the distance I need from mine with 1/4oz and up with no backlash issues. I find them easy to dial in. I have four, with the oldest on it's fourth season now. Still smooth as the day I bought it. I think they're a solid value. OMMV.
  6. I have the HP 7' MH. It's a stout MH for sure. Slap a Lews LFS on it and you'll have a $140 combo that'll serve you well.
  7. If you can live with the power hump handle, the bps crankin sticks are outstanding for the money. Very light and sensitive for a composite.
  8. There ain't but 2 rules. #2 says, Love your neighbor as yourself. Think how good things could be if everyone could do that one simple thing. It ain't always easy, but it is simple.
  9. On the prayer list.
  10. A green pumpkin 1/8oz swim jig has worked well for me. I'll crawl it across the pads and let it fall into the holes between them. Twin tail grub trailer.
  11. THANK YOU!!! I need those rods like I need another hole in my head, but I've been SOOO tempted. That was an awesome deal you WERE offering.
  12. Chatterbaits are outstanding in the dark, and they crawl through rock like nothing else I've ever fished. I rarely lose them. A green pumpkin or black and blue CB would be my suggestion.
  13. Stick a beaver in their face and "shake it till they take it". ? Zoom UV Speed Craw is also awesome in that environment.
  14. Don't buy an ARK or Tatula or you will. Suddenly your Sierra will feel dead in your hands. Happened to me. The above mentioned rods are more sensitive and responsive than the Kaden too, and for less $$$. I still like my Kaden 744, and Fury 735 for moving baits, but they don't impress me for bottom contact. My Sierra and Kaden flippin sticks are collecting cobwebs, replaced by the ARK Tharp Series, King Cobra, and Money Maker.
  15. KVD line conditioner.
  16. Congrats on your PB. I agree that musky isn't healthy. I've never seen one that skinny, and to land it in 5min on that tackle is really quick. I've caight quite a few on my ned rod, with 6# XT, and it's normally a 20-30 minute fight with one that length. Looks like maybe it had it's back broke at some point.
  17. Rapala super line scissors. $3 and change at Wally World. Mine are on their second season. Zero complaints.
  18. I'd snap these up from the BR flea market if I were you @mikeh88. Heckuva deal and those Tatulas are really nice rods.
  19. You are not alone. Just cancelled an order last week that had been on backorder since Dec 27.
  20. I collected a bunch of it myself this spring throwing an A rig on 40# braid. That thing grabs ahold of anything that gets within ten feet of it. I watched a straw hat pull an entire spool of mono off his spinning reel and throw it in the lake a few weeks ago. I picked it up off the surface. If he hadn't had his small children with him, we'd have had an interesting conversation about it.
  21. It wasn't discounted much but I bought one.
  22. Working to help the grass grow, so that you can cut it more. The definition of insanity.? Just razzing ya brother. Beautiful lawn ya got there. Personally I'd rather have brown grass and more time on the water. Different strokes...
  23. If I could afford it, my entire yard would be concrete.
