I have been using countless senkos. I always have one tied on one of my rods when I go. The problem is I have cheap ones and they aren't very durable, I get 1 maybe 2 fish out of them and they rip beyond usability. Does anyone know of some really durable senkos? I would like to not have to switch everytime I get snagged or hook a dink.
True. And that's part of it for me. I try now to flip them all crazy and let them flop. That's the only part that upset me is usually I get a nice clean release. It's just the unfortunate reality that things happen sometimes.
Thanks for that. Honestly I'm not sure if he made it. But I think about 75% chance he made it fine. Never had one float up either.
I didn't see him after. Unless he was under the grass he look liked he swam off and never floated up.
True. I just take pride in trying my absolute best to save my fish. Get them in the water immediately and make sure they have the best chance possible. Just upsets me that he fell. Need to be more careful next time.
? Tries recording mine for a vid. Camera ran out of batteries. He fought hard weighed in at 3.09. Got *excited and held him far up. One shake and flopped onto the rock. Grabbed him quick, picture, revive, then he swam out to a patch of grass.
He swam off. Just a not super quick. He hit his side not his head. So I'm not sure. I didn't drop him all that hard or far. Just needed to hold him over the water instead of next to it. Fish grips will be bought soon
Yep. Need the ones that clamp the lip. One good shake and he fell.
Definitely man. Got exited about his size and held him too far.
My bass flopped off the scale as I was weighing him. He fell about 2.5 to 3 feet onto a half submerged rock. I grabbed him after he fell, revived him for a second. And then he swam off somewhat ok. Will he live?
