  1. might be time for another slice... love that part of NY, no action in the lakes? - hit the river.
  2. More bass fishing on the NY side of the Delaware River. Lakes around there have dinosaurs in em. This lake is spring fed so water temp stays relatively cool but the 55 degree temps with rain and wind over father's day weekend helped cool things off also. What is everyone else using as water temps rise?
  3. Hi All, As the water warms up seems like the fish slow down... decent weekend at swartswood state park. We fished both lakes in a small jon boat with garmin striker 4 reading water temp at 75F, (seems a bit off). A few hours in all we had were a few 7-8in large mouth and one decent pickerel. However, in little swartswood lake under a tree, sitting in weeds you can just about walk on we found this pig. Not the greatest day since conditions were pretty good but better than staring at a laptop all day.
  4. Kinnelon Nj. Caught em all day on top water split back Rapalas.
  5. Update... Taxidermist said judging by the width of my fingers across the belly we're looking at a 23in fish somewhere between 7 and 8 lbs. (he's also charging by the inch lol) but i've caught 4-5 pounders before and it didn't even compare. Unfortunately this picture doesn't do it justice. Love the feed back though!
  6. Yep, little crank bait in about 10inches of water. near a doc and some lilies. I'm not sure about the 4lbs (not trying to gloat LOL ) but it was over 20inches long and just for comparison, I'm 6ft 220 sitting in a full legth scanoue thoughts? Here's a few other pics. (sorry for the shirtless it was 97 out). also sent to a taxidermist, looking to get it mounted. he judged the size of my fingers apparently and called it 23.
  7. Hi All, New here! Caught this girl this past weekend (Saturday June 5th) in upstate NY on Lake Huntington. Didn't have a scale and looking for opinions on the weight!! First time catching one of this size. thanks!!
