    I'd give up just about all of my rod and reel setups if it meant I got to catch a fish of that caliber! Congratulations!!!

    Please do take a video as I'm not sure I understand quite what is happening. As I mentioned earlier, my first guess would be line twist. As for rigging, I prefer to use a wacky saddle or an O-Ring system.

    What do you mean by spinning? Could be excessive line twist.

    It will absolutely work. It won't be ideal, but I've personally used them multiple times if I'm in a pinch and they happen to be all I've got.
