I am going down to Amelia Island for memorial day weekend. I really want to try to catch some redfish. I was contemplating chartering a boat, but I would rather put the money towards a rod/reel and go at it myself. Anyone have any suggestion/advice of where I should go.
Thanks
Jason
i have been wearing costas for the last couple of years and really enjoy them. They really are top notch glasses. Good glasses make a world of difference on the water. Regardless what you wear, get a good pair of polarized glasses, your vision is worth the extra $'s.
I moved up to DC last fall, and just now have started to look for places to go fishing. i know there are a lot of nova people on here. Where are some good places to go, that are close to DC.
Thanks
Jason
Go with the Costas. Best bet is go try a bunch on, find the ones you want and then look around. After loosing 3 pairs of them, i actually found a pair of MP2's on ebay in perfect condition for 51 shipped.
Went by today, and they had a bunch of stuff super cheap. I got all this for 15.58 including tax. They still had a bunch of freshwater stuff, everything else was cleaned out.
I have a piranghaMAX 240 with a ram mount, minus the ball, that i had on my kayak. The ball is still on the yak where i sold it. You can buy the ball itself for 12. Also the setup if you wanted to run it off 8AA batteries. I am thinking of selling it, let me know if you would be interested.
i made a frame out of pvc pipe that worked pretty well. there was a design on another fishing site. i am not sure if i am allowed to post a link to it though.
