For the time being, I built a PVC pole and attached it to a RAM mount. That way I can keep it where I need it while using the trolling motor. Haven't got to try it yet, as I'm installing a CMC tilt/trim unit for my outboard because my back is wrecked. Thanks again to everyone for their help and input. I really appreciate it. Hey all! My name is Kyle and I'm a fisherman. Started like most, panfish with my grandpa and some bass and carp fishing. Lost myself for several years. Wasted them doing a bunch of garbage and ruining jobs, relationships, and myself. Finally got away from all that about 10 years ago and have gotten back to who I was. Who I am. I love fishing of all kinds. Been mostly panfishing for the past few years, with my wife, who had never fished before she met me. She now very much enjoys it. Recently she asked about bass fishing, so I've been getting all my old bass gear out and dusted off, and have added a bunch of new stuff as well. I'm looking forward to learning new techniques and making some fishing friends. Tight lines, everyone.

Biglittle8, nevermind, I finally got the pics. Excellent setup. Very sharp. Don't suppose you'd want to build another one, for me? Lol. I'll show it to my buddies in the maintenance department and see if they can make one for me, unless you are going to. Either way, that is a fantastic mount and I really appreciate the pics. Thanks, Hoosierman. After looking at this, I've decided that I'm going to make my own, out of PVC and HDPE. Add a couple bearings, and I'll have exactly what I need. I appreciate your help, my friend. Tight Lines.

I'd really like to mount my tripleshot transducer to my MinnKota Edge trolling motor, but the skeg is HUGE. I'll be upgrading the motor in the future, but for now, the Edge is what I have to work with. Should I cut off the skeg to mount the super (long) ducer, or figure out another type of mount for it? I really don't want to leave it on the transom. I'd much rather look at what I'm over, instead of what I've already passed over. Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA.
