  3. Hello everyone! i was a prolific bass fisherman in the 80’s and 90’s I used a lot of boron rods ( which I miss immensely ) but some rods owned and still have seem to be unknown now and were high dollar in their day. If someone knows of any of these please let me know 1) Champion Rods ( IM6 ) TN Handle TGM Piston Rods ( IM6 ) TN Handle Kunnan Graphite 96 Classic I still have these and are in prime condition and still use these today thank you Steve

  5. I’ve done quite a bit of research prior to purchasing the Falcon Mansfield spinning rod and once I used it ( primarily smallmouth in the Potomac / Monacacy and Susquehanna Rivers ) am glad I chose this rod, it’s reminiscent of the high quality of All Star rods did back in the 1980’s when they were still made in Houston,Tx. Sensitively weight and balance are superior and for the price phenomenal ! I’ve picked up a Dobyns Fury and it felt like a pool cue didn’t like it from the get go but to be fair never fished with one so I can only go by my only feeling when I picked it up. It may well be a nice stick but a little on the heavy side. Falcons cork handles are also a big plus.
