i just got a tatula elite, that thing can cast a mile . yes steez hlc cast furthest . but the gears wear out fast. i just got mine, wow blow my mind . how far that thing can cast.

i agree , antares is great reel. butter smooth, downside just its little bit heavy. ill go check it out, metanium 20 mgl thanks i had the matanium dc before, my steez and antares cast further than the matanium dc

i just got my xtasy 755c, i want to get a new reel to pair with it. i fish carolina rig and throw 3/4 oz sinker most of the time, what reel can cast the farthest? i have steez tw hlc and antares dc they cast pretty far, im happy with them. im wondering if there are any choices for a bomb cast. thanks !

carolina rig most time, using 3/4 oz egg sinker with light weight plastic worm like dead ringers. prefer low profile bait caster that is around 5 oz. for the rod im thinking the shimano poison andrena 74 heavy action(i have the 73 medium heavy as well). i currently use g loomis conquest 903c , but i feel the casting ability is not as good as my 73 andrena medium heavy. haha, 3 people mentioned Shimano Antares, i think this is it . i have the met dc, im wondering if Antares dc can out cast met dc, by the way, i fish carolina rig with 3/4 oz sinker most time .

Anyone knows what’s the best reel for casting distance and it’s light weight ? Price is not limit.
