I know this question sounds like a joke, but I actually have questions. I was fishing a shaky a head but everytime I tried to shake my rod, it either hops a little bit or I just shake the line instead. I know the worm is loaded with salt so could be just the bait, but do you keep slack on the line and shake it?
I saw that the stroker hooks were made specifically for rage rigging. Is there really a difference in terms of presentation with those hooks as opposed to any other weighted hooks?
Looking to get some weighted hooks to try this rig. Can anyone that has tried rig recommend what weight and hook size would work for rage bug, craw, and other 3-6 inch plastics?
So those flipping and pitching rods are more for heavier application like a fallen tree with a lot of roots then for a simple log?
It wouldn't be necessary then to have a flipping and pitching rod just for flipping something like a single tree stump?
I see many people only prefer to use this baits to get through cover like laydowns or grass. Does anyone use baits like the rage bug or pit boss in a T rig around docks and other light cover?
Why do people recommend such high lb test line for these rods? For example, I run 12 lb on my T rig and I can flip and pitch with that to laydowns but I see for flipping and pitching rods, they recommend around 17-20 lb.
Yeah it's not a giant lake, just 200 acres and limited access so I highly doubt it was from another angler not to mention it was like the first week of spring
