  1. Is this bait any good? I just got a deep-diving one in perch color because they didn’t have any Shadow Rap Deeps in the color that I wanted. Any reviews?
  2. I may need it soon because my tip top guide bent in half on my Celilo ultralight because somehow it fell into a door and someone closed it. I might just also replace the top top guide, too.
  3. Not Michigan(where I live). There is very little river Smallmouth fishing(that I know of) comparatively as some other states. I’d say Minnesota or NY.
  4. I haven’t really had an influence in my fishing by anyone else in my life yet. Maybe in the future, but right now I don’t know anyone in real life that catches fish or even fishes as regularly as I do.
  5. I don’t throw big swimbaits but I’ve heard good things about the Megabass Magdraft or the Magdraft Freestyle.
  6. Green pumpkin always works for me, and I have to try white/grey now!
  7. PB Rock Bass ever! It hit a 4’ Rapala Deep-Diving Shadow Rap in Perch. I thought it was a largemouth at first!
  8. I have no idea. Maybe because it is an American website? I doubt it though.
  9. I’m pretty sure I caught a 2-3 pound Bass on my 1st combo, which was a zebco 33 rod. It snapped my rod, but I still some how got it in! Don’t have a picture unfortunately.
  10. Same. I’m in southern Michigan, and I don’t get sniffed. And nice day!
  11. I caught my first big Smallmouth Bass, which is also my PB, today at Lake Maxincuckee! I caught him on the Perch color deep diving Shadow Rap. I caught the largemouth on a Ned rig.
  12. Where I live in Michigan it’s only 84 degrees, but the humidity is like 70% so running wasn’t very fun today.
  13. I’ve never caught a fish on my one Whopper Plopper, but I hope that’ll change this year!
  14. A few years ago, I snagged the first and only whopper plopped I’ve ever bought in a tree. A year ago, I snagged a branch in the same spot, and it had my dirty whopper plopped on it! The branch must have fell into the water during a storm in the year that it was missing! And I’ve also saved a jerkbait in the same circumstances, but it was only a week or 2 apart from snagging it and getting it back.
  15. I’ve never snapped a rod on a fish, but this weekend I snapped my Fenwick Eagle in half because I tried to pull my lure out of a thin, flexible branch. I’ve also snapped a St. Croix Triumph on some weeds, but that seemed to be defective from the beginning, because the tip top fell off a couple of times.
  16. This fish, caught at the very end of the day on the wakebait saved my fishing trip! Also caught a small bass. Missed a few, and had a big one wrap me around a branch so I snapped off, but the big fish made up for it!
  17. I just bring my fishing backpack with all of my fishing stuff in it because I can carry it around relatively easy. I may cut down on some of the baits though to make it lighter. I’ll bring 2 rods with me because I fish from the shore and I don’t like to carry around more than 2 rods.
  18. Got these fish and a few more today! Only had limited space to cast, so it was a good day!
  19. I try to get the hook out, like when I snagged a guys broken off line with a big snapping turtle attached to it. I used my long-nosed pliers and stayed as far away as possible.

  24. I caught 7 fish today, of which 5 were caught on a white pond magic spinner bait! It was choppy today, but if you are fishing from shore like me than you should be fine. Biggest was around 2, and my mom got 2 fish(on my pole)
