  1. I wish I could catch a 7 pound bass or even a decent bass in winter period! Oh well, it's too late to fish in my home lake now.
  2. I like the lake that my grandma lives near. I caught my 4 1/2 pound pb there! And while I hope to try ice fishing soon, I am already sick of the super thin ice in my fishing spots!
  3. Oh ok. I guess I've got a long way to go!
  4. Nice bios everyone! I'm also wondering: How does anyone get to 20,000-30,000 posts???????
  5. TheBasslayer means that I slay at catching bass (Not the best bass fisherman out there but I still catch fish and it sounds cool IMO
  6. I'm too young to really know what it was like in the 60's to the 90's , but I can tell that I know a lot more stuff now than I did when I first started out 4 years ago.
  7. I usually keep fishing until December, and most of the time the water is iced up by then anyways.
  8. I've caught a few with no or very subtle stripes where I live .
  9. I've always caught my most fish from April-July
  10. IMO I should have fished more and with a bigger variety of baits.
  11. Since I live in the same town as him, I was in this fishing camp, and we went to his house with his backyard pond for the last day of the camp. He was nice, and he gave out zebco 33's and signed the reel. (That reel cover is faded now☹️.) I caught a 3 1/2-pounder there! (For me anything over 3 pounds is a big fish)
  12. Nice! They aren't fun to get the hooks out of!
  13. Mine was when this guy accidentally hooked and lost a big snapping turtle. I was casting around with a jerkbait and after around 30 minutes, I felt something heavy on the line. Turns out I snagged his broken line, turtle attached! Luckily I got it in and got the guy’s hook out.
  14. Thanks!
  15. Hello! I’ve been looking at this site, and I’ve decided to sign up. I don’t have social media, but I subbed to the YouTube and the newsletter.
