Thats awesome Ive had that happen to me when i went i waded out to a channel ( you can see on the map where it is bc it is just one black stripe thru everything) and first cast broke off on a good 40 inch snook suprised the crap out of me and i had no idea what to do i had never seen a snook that big jump good grief it couldve been mistaken for a baby tarpon ?
but yea i use 25lbs ANDE mono it works great
Hey i have a couple questions
what would be a good inexpensive salwater/freshwater baitcasting combo and, would medium heavy/fast action be good for jigs and crankbaits?
also what is a inexspensive fly fishing kit i can take in the salt and fresh (when i say salt i mean mainly inshore and a little bit of beach fishing)
Just created this for anyone to post anything they would like to about snook and tarpon, or any inshore fishing they do or have done. Feel free to add species or cool stories!
I love Christmas. Today some presents came i ordered for my freinds and family, i think they'll like it. I got some great baits for my brother and dad and want to get nice polarized glasses for my mom. Got my best frend a sick knife he should enjoy. ?
Hey guys i was wondering if anyone had any adivce on this, im looking for an inflatable SUP, does anyone have anything thats worked really good?
Im planning on taking thru bass fishing, snook, maybe tarpon, but not like out in the ocean, like intercoastal stuff.
Price range is 0-350$
Thanks
yea that has happened to me sometimes it pretty cool to see bass spawn all different times
also sometimes its hard for me to keep up with spawn because the bass where i live dont have a common spawning time each pond is different
I think the best time is winter because its phanomal for the bass they get really mad with spawning and the cold weather they dont like to chase food and a senko or jig tantalizing them right in their face entices them and they eat, kind of like the cake right sitting on the counter right in your face you want to eat really now.
