not sure how being mis-recognized as a big power boat is possible or even the downside of it. the boat sheriff went past me yesterday. my lights were on and I tried to wave him down, but he waved back and blasted past me. hahhah.. he waked me! pretty funny. I know where they dock and will talk to them when I get the chance. my friend takes his green light and suspends it under a float to attract crappie. totally waterproof.

the Berkely Surge shad will swim just under the surface, but can pick up speed and it will dive to what I guess is around 6-8 Inch.

I found Flouro too loopy for my spinning set ups. my Maxim has a relatively smaller first guide and the loops from line memory, really slowed my casts. I went to Braid, and never went back.

Here is a sore. Gross

Fish are pale, skinny, fins ragged, and they have sores on them. I got eight today and it was pretty universal. They still fight hard as heck. Very gentle subtle bites.

Tough fishing. But i I tossed out my bait and started eating some lunch. I dragged the plastic slower than ever. I would feel rocks and branches as my bait moved over them. Slow! Then I could feel the tiniest “tick”. Jam hook home and FISH ON! I learned the pattern and caught 8 fish for the day. Off water at noon when the wind came in hard. ugly bass. Sores, skinny, ragged fins. Not sure what’s going on.

I wouldn't show up to someone's house early. that is weird. right smack on time. when I pick up my bud for fishing, I go early just so I can hit the gas station down the block. it is too early for coffee shops to be open or I would go and get two cups. save him from drinking the convenience store swill he likes.

i ripped the skirt off the Uozo swimjig from Megabass. i only bought two, and one skirt is ripped off. i only catch fish on the skirted version, but i havent focused on either versions all that much, if i am being honest. the spinner is held with a titanium wire if i remember it right.

I had a bass crush a glide bait when it pulled a u-turn and headed back towards the following fish.

I'm a better cook than I am a bass-fisherman. by a mile. I knew the food industry was a lot of work, a lot of school debt, and not a lot of pay (for most)..so I never pursued it. so, I try to kikcass at home. I find great joy in tasting some food in some restaurant, some foreign country, and trying to recreate it at home. I've had some crazy failures. funny ones, but sometimes....sometimes I kill it.

you all were lucky. my dad died when i was 13. i dont remember much.
