  1. They are out when you click the size. Any size near me. Let’s be frank. All our problems are first world problems.
  2. Not sure what subforum this fits in. anyways. I was wearing the ubiquitous sun shirt hoodie. Love them. But recently I’ve been gravitating towards the button up long sleeve. Heck, I wear them mountain biking. my luck the Simms button up is d**n near sold out everywhere. My wife thinks she saw them at a local men’s store at the mall. I’ll go today to suss it out. ‘’the Columbia ones I have are nice. Cooler than a pullover. And I stink less. Haha. any other recommendations? Besides;
  3. I just bought the 200. Fun reel. I’m probably delusional thinking I could tell the difference blindfolded if someone handed me a 150. ‘’having said that, yea I want one.
  4. I try not to overthink anything fishing. It will ruin it for me.
  5. I think yes. Middle of the road is perfect.
  6. Tough! I got three. Drop shot only. The small shad replica fooled a few. Lucky.
  7. Last time was a horrible skunk. been two weeks since then. Today, I woke up naturally early. I hear my wife mumble (half asleep), “the bass are not gonna catch themselves. Zzzzz” haha, it’s my fishing mantra. Why not?! Jumped out of bed, and loaded up. Had to come home real quick….gas station coffee. Ahem. good luck today people. Let’s go! Fish won’t catch themselves!
  8. This is a bit harsh. Some people I assume legitimately are hoping to reduce their carbon footprint. To each their own. OP. What happened? You spun a bearing?
  9. I use the same cable I have for my motorcycle. The lock is this tiny krytonite u lock that folks put thru their brake disc. ive seen an industrial cable cutter. Nothing can resist that. Nothing. But I only seen contractors use it.
  10. I have some Shimano oil. I don’t use it. I like the thin applicator tip on the Lucas oil. the Penn oil I use for my Hobie Pedal drive.
  11. I like this idea!! I drop shot that lizard. And lately it’s been part of my Hail Mary arsenal as a shaky head.
  12. I tend to over use my fury 703. It’s like my Swiss Army knife of rods. I just use it and ignore the lane-lines. Jigs to topwater sometimes. I’m all over the place. It’s my #2 bass catchingest rod truth be told. Lots of jig fish for sure.
  13. I love them. If one is faulty it is immediately realized when I try to cinch the line down. No big deal. Pinch it some more or tie a square knot down below. what does suck is when the bail accidentally slams shut on the cast. The sinker shoots off towards the horizon.
  14. Sassy Shad jig n pig. Zara Spook. I think I still have one.
  15. This is not bad advice. I have a 2 power Kaden. It’s so light. Its NOT my drop shot rod. My DS rod is a 7’3” Phenix MED rod and it’s Sick! So sensitive which is what I wanted in that style of fishing. I feel the lightest ticks. Even with partially slack line. my Kaden handles Neds, light shake heads and my ubiquitous wanky worm. The action is more med to me and the added bend is fun when setting the hook with a wacky. It’s a more fun fish fight with the Kaden. Less drama. (don’t forget about Phenix rods).
  16. Blanchard has the balance of a surfer. I bet I fall right off that tiny boat. It’s a skill. My first time standing up was 100% puckered. If I farted, it would have been A high pitched whistle. now, I can occasionally turn sideways to pee. I’m getting more comfortable with the move. Standing up is easy. Getting up is the wobbly move.
  17. Shimano handles the jackall lure warranties. I was blown away by their service. Like dumbstruck. I bet they simply don’t have one in stock (?) good luck.
  18. hahaha.. I am a dork!! bobbing about on my kayak, I tried to do a quick lure change. shut the box and notice it right away..brand new fish_less Megabass Darksleep got neutered...ARGH!!! I REALLY need to shake that lure funk off that thing. oh well. not my most shiny moment. hahahh.
  19. I’ve never thought much about it. But my bass are getting bigger. A small dink is easy. What about a giant? The lip hold must put the fish under load - all on the lips. I try to support the body as well. excuse me and apologies if this is a stupid question. I’m relatively new to all of this.
  20. Interesting idea. I might be imagining things, but the magdraft almost seems to wiggle at the shoulders. It’s a full body wiggle. Won’t a hook shank down the middle limit that?
  21. I have to wait till pandemic is over. They are not letting in visitors unless your an Olympian. They are in their 4th surge. Yikes. you can’t step foot in Taipei in the summer. No way.
  22. Dang. I keep forgetting that last step with the tag end of the braid. My knot still holds well. I do the pinkie method and I vaguely remember him skipping it as well. Could’ve wrong. I’m gonna add it.
  23. ^^ truth! It used to just be about getting out on the water. But it’s long past that. It’s downright exploded. I’d argue kayak bass fishing is the faster growing sport at this time. im relatively simple in my setup. d**n near archaic compared to most kayaks I see out there.
