  1. You can check tablerockfishingintel.com they have daily and weekly reports. Also look on YouTube for focused fishing he does a very detailed weekly report.
  2. I fish with this rod and have it paired with a Curado K. I feel like 3/8 to 1/2 oz jigs plus trailer is the sweet spot. A!so fishes 1/2 oz spinnerbaits and bladed jigs.action is a little fast for the bladed Baits, but works. Great for buzzbaits. Personally I think it has to much power for light stuff. As far as power goes I caught a 13 1/2 pound channel catfish on it in the heavy grass with a bladed jig and it was at its max. Its very balanced, casts easily and acuratly, and has decent sensitivity... I've bought and sold several high end rods, but this one is staying in my rod locker. I would say it falls right between the glx 803c and glx804c in action and backbone.. It will fish a medium or small frog in open water very well Just make sure to tighten your drag down to set those hooks
  3. My concern is if the 803 has too much power.. Also does it have enough tip flex to load up a Senko and do a good job skipping it? I guess my question is how stiff is the tip??
  4. Oops I meant NRX 803 JWR
  5. Hello, first time posting. I live on a small lake surrounded by docks. I'm fairly new to Bassin' and haven't learned to skip a baitcaster very well yet. I've been skipping a wacky rigged Senko with an IMX SJ782. It works but seems a little light. It skips and handles the bait just fine but once I have a fish on it just feels a little underpowered. I'm wanting to get a GLX or NRX as a dedicated Senko skipping rod for dock fishing. Anyone have any experience with the GLX SJ783 or NRX JWR 783? i know everyone loves the 852 but I'm wanting to stay on the shorter side..
