  1. I tested this last week with a $20 gift card for $10. Got an email the next day stating my order was “canceled at your request and your payment has been voided”. So they refunded me yet they sent me the code for the $20 gift card. I paid $1.90 for 5 frittsides. 96% off lmao.
  2. The sycamore50 code is active. I just tested it.
  3. No, Pure Fishing is just as bad at making codes as they are at shipping rods. They have a few more 50% off codes that work right now (they all share a common theme).
  4. Use the code: sycamore50 It works and 50% off anything at Pure Fishing with this code. Free shipping as well btw. The bait monkey demands sacrifice.
  5. Pure Fishing (Abu, Berkley, Fenwick, Pflueger, ect) has a 50% off code that works on ALL items. I don't know when it expires or gets patched. Free shipping as well. https://www.purefishing.com/ ESSENDANT50 Example:
  6. All 3 of my St. Croix’s are good. My Bass X (BAC710HF) has small clear coat smear on the label area (small blemish). My Mojo Bass (MJS71MHF) spinning rod has served me well. My 2018 Legend Tournament Bass (LBC71MHF) is the most elegant rod at its price point and is very well built. In the aesthetics department, the 2018 LTB rods blows the new 2022 LTB rods out of the water.
  7. The Zillion SV TW G finally arrived. Casts farther and is smoother than my Tatula 100. Loving the Legend Tournament Bass (LBC71MHF). I tell myself I won’t buy another $600 setup but it’s only a matter of time.
  8. Got a Lew’s Super Duty 300 (SD3HL) from Amazon Warehouse for $115 w/ tax (Used: Very Good). Looks and feels like it was used once. Spooled up with ~20 yards of 14lb XL and the rest 50lb 832. Paired with my Genesis II 7’11” Bub’s Punch Rod. Great rod just wish it didn’t have semi micro guides so I can use a leader longer than a foot.
  9. I have a President XT LE 30. I finally got a rod for it: 7’2” ML BPS Panfish Elite. I literally just got home from a creek after using it for the first time. It preformed pretty well (5 Bass 4”-13”).
  10. Ollie’s, a discount store chain in Connecticut, recently got a decent amount of fishing gear. Picked up 10 Lucky Craft lures for $6.99 each.
  11. New PB on Friday. Caught this 19” largemouth on a LC 2.5. Originally thought I was reeling a milfoil but then the line moved. Fight was amazing. Unfortunately hooked on fatty underside near pelvic fins. Debarbed the front hook and avoided any damage. Eastern CT.
  12. Cleared Karl’s out of the S-waver 120s in Lite Trout. Got the big 360GT for pike. The Spinnerbait and Z-man Willowvibe looked interesting so I picked them up with the store credit from the 2 S-wavers. Also got my first good baitcast setup. Tatula 100 HL (6.3:1) and the 6’10” MHF Tatula rod . Walmart price corrected the reel to twice so I paid $90 instead of $145. Got the rod for $130 at Walmart. Shipped in a corrugated triangular mailing box that had the tip end blown out but it somehow survived without any damage. Can’t wait to get some 40lb 832 on so I can practice.
