Thanks Alex. I got the locking mechanism fixed on Friday. Merc worked great today at the lake! Only caught 7 today...rough day...no wind, started at 6 AM / 56 degrees and 91% humidity...finished at 1 PM, 90 degrees.

Had to make one small fix today...the mechanism that locks the motor from tilting when it's in neutral and reverse was not working. Got it fixed today, and greased up the shift linkage. All good to go. Will have it on the water again tomorrow morning @ 5:30 AM : )

90% of my stuff is 20+ years old...so I don't worry if I get hung and something gets lost. I do have a lure-retriever...saved many o lure!

Agreed! The Canada lodge we fished keeps records on paper...then transfer to Excel every night.

** Edit, it is a Plano Box ** I know it holds three big Plano boxes in the bottom...and five smaller boxes up top (on their sides). The right side has spinner bait racks. I can jam a lot of stuff in there. Have another bag for plastics.

I got in to 'em this weekend...found a little weed bed next to a drop off in to a creek channel...hammered the little 9-12" bass for a few hours...and got "bass thumb"! Three different times I put together a string of "three-fish-on-three-consecutive-casts." FUN!
