  1. Small swimbaits and senkos mostly. As for backing what would you go with mono or braid?
  2. Any help on spoiling my new curado dc I would appreciate it. Not sure if I'm putting 12 or 15 lb invizx or tatsu yet but should I go 10 lb braid or mono for backing? What do you guys prefer and like better thanks!
  3. Don't sleep on the diawa bg 2500 that puppy is dynamite!
  4. Chatterbait Spinnerbait Buzzbait Senko Swimbait
  5. Took my kid fishing last weekend not thinking I was gonna catch anything but we ended up catching two bass on maxscent general's the color's were black and blue fleck and junebug so we were happy! The best part was a hawk tried to swoop down and steal my magdraft but he missed and I got lucky!
  6. The magdraft is a confidence bait for me so yeah it gets bit. I haven't tried the cullshad yet but I soon will be.
  7. Which one do you prefer the screwhead or plain one better?
  8. Dirty jigs guppy heads Nishine smelt heads Keitech super round jig head Outkast tackle goldeneye
  9. Owner weedless blockheads 1\8 oz these are my favorites.
  10. Can someone school me on this swimbait? Looks interesting just picked up a set on ebay. Just curious if anyone has fished these with any success. To me it looks like the bass would clobber this thing but that's just me so any info would be appreciated thanks.
  11. They like it that much ?
  12. I started fishing spinning reels and loved them and still do but the last few years I ventured into baitcasting reels and I think the world of them. Just make sure you get the right one dial them in and have some fun!
  13. Those are sweet I'm gonna pick up a few of the 4 inch one's what hook do you use for them thanks!
  14. I want to upgrade and get something better money is not a problem. I'm thinking about getting a curado dc. I'm fairly new to baitcasting and love them any other suggestions?
  15. 1\8 and 3\16 is all I use.
  16. That's funny you said that I was gonna tie on a Zara puppy but I didn't but now that I think about it maybe I should of next time.
  17. I'm a righty so my spinning gear was always left hand. I always cast with my right. But now I ventured into baitcasting and I feel more comfortable reeling with my right hand is that weird? I thought I would of liked a left hand retrieve in baitcasting but the right hand just feels more natural to me. No big deal to me after casting with my right and switching the rod too my left.
  18. Update I tried a senko, jerkbait, crank bait and the new tanuki but nothing. But I was able to get two bass about a pound each. I caught them on a magdraft 5 inch in albino pearl. That bait is just amazing how it moves in the water I was slow rolling it.
  19. No luck tried it for a few casts but nothing. Still a bit chilly here I used a 4\0 ewg gammy weightless.
  20. Just curious what you guys would throw first plastic's are moving hard baits? Still a bit cold here in the north east so topwater would be out of the question.
  21. Today is the day I finally get to use them I will keep everyone posted wish me luck! On deck ready to roll!
  22. We are on the board she was a little over a pound but I'll take it. Caught it on a 3.8 rage swimmer in pearl on a OutKast goldeneye jig head.
  23. My tanukies finally came in and I must say by the looks of them they will catch fish. All I need is gp blue fleck and black with blue fleck. A 4\0 ewg looks about right. We will give these a go very shortly. Fat ikas have done nothing for me while the senko is still king.
  24. Maxscent general wacky rigged and a 6 inch magdraft that's usually my one two punch!
  25. Caught a 6 pounder on a 5" senko the color was green pumpkin with purple and green fleck. This color has moved into 2nd place right behind my other personal favorite black with blue fleck.
