    I live in the north east and I love to fish for bass. I think bassresource is a great website that I've been following for a few months now and I learned alot. I finally joined to learn more and to give input of what I know.

    I used to bass fish alot in my teen yrs and into my twenties but once I got married and had kids that all stopped. I'm 43 now and got back into fishing more for myself and also for my kids. I think I'm more addicted now than I was years ago. I have 9 year old twin boys even though one likes to fish I'm still trying to get my other to bite the bait.

    Any help on spoiling my new curado dc I would appreciate it. Not sure if I'm putting 12 or 15 lb invizx or tatsu yet but should I go 10 lb braid or mono for backing? What do you guys prefer and like better thanks!

    Took my kid fishing last weekend not thinking I was gonna catch anything but we ended up catching two bass on maxscent general's the color's were black and blue fleck and junebug so we were happy! The best part was a hawk tried to swoop down and steal my magdraft but he missed and I got lucky!

    The magdraft is a confidence bait for me so yeah it gets bit. I haven't tried the cullshad yet but I soon will be.

    Can someone school me on this swimbait? Looks interesting just picked up a set on ebay. Just curious if anyone has fished these with any success. To me it looks like the bass would clobber this thing but that's just me so any info would be appreciated thanks.

    I started fishing spinning reels and loved them and still do but the last few years I ventured into baitcasting reels and I think the world of them. Just make sure you get the right one dial them in and have some fun!

    I want to upgrade and get something better money is not a problem. I'm thinking about getting a curado dc. I'm fairly new to baitcasting and love them any other suggestions?

    1\8 and 3\16 is all I use.
