  1. I heat mine with a Heat gun. Turned up on high it only takes 5 to 10 secs to heat a head and dip it in the fluid bed, I haven't tried the heat guard yet but looking forward to it. Try heating with a heat gun or torch instead of the oven, I think it is heated to long that way. here is a video on how to do it. http://www.do-itmolds.com/education/videos.aspx Fedxpress
  2. I have had luck using it at night, I fish a Charlie Brewer slider worm or Yum craw. Here is the jig I use Fedxpress
  3. Have you thought about grinding the mold to the shape of the hook you want or to alter it some way like that. Fedxpress
  4. I have used and caught many fish this way with a 4 inch senko. I makes the Senko last longer. Not sure about the action. Here is the jigs I use. Fedxpress
  5. Even some little girls throw pink!!!! And Now her dad!!!! Fedxpress
  6. I use the small size in my shakey heads and the larger size in my Red fish jig. here is the Red fish Jig. I haven't used it let for Bass Fishing. Fedxpress

  8. If it was me I would send it back to get fixed, being its a 220 or so dollar rod. Then I would go to Walmart and buy a cheap rod to play with. I would take the chance to mess up a Loomis. Fedxpress
  9. Fished for an hour and had these three and had two get off. Got them all on a Southern Shaker. Fedxpress
  10. I don't like the spring being that close to my line tie. I'm sure it want get into the way but why chance it. Also with the worm coming right off the ball jig and not sticking up above you get less grass and weeds on it and less chance of hanging up. Fedxpress
  11. I use a Do-It-Molds 1/8 ball jig and it works fine they make all kinds just need to alter it with a grinder and JB wield if you want to do away with the collar. Here are mine Fedxpress
  12. I like #.0 Gamakatsu Hook 1/8 once ball jigs and screw lock. Fedxpress
  13. I wouldn't melt lead in the house or on the stove because of the fumes. You can do it cheap and get just what you want. But you have to first buy a pot cheapest lee pot is 45.00 then you have to buy a mold 35.00. You have to buy or find a supplier for good lead. after you off set these prices it .20 for a hook and .40 for a skirt 5.00 for a color of powder-coat, and a heating element for the paint. I use a heat gun thats another 30.00 You can use a alcohol burner (I would rather not abuse it), a camping stove and a pan to melt the lead a ladle to scoop it out and buy used mold of ebay etc, all of which would make it cheaper, but harder and slower to work with. 14. Another Family displaced!!!! Fish the post spawn fish and leave the others to raise more for us to catch. Who know what will happen and I don't think you did anything wrong but unless I'm fishing a Bass Master Classic for 100G I pass on the beds. Fedxpress
  15. This is why I went with a Xpress X19 and a Honda BF150. It's not the fastest boat runs 60 by myself and 57 with my partner and his gear, But I can fish a long time before I have to get any gas and I don't have to buy that 20.00 a gallon oil. The engine has been Maintance free and is very quite. Best of all its very dependable. Fedxpress
