Haha, I was about to say the same. All he is missing is a cast net. Perhaps trade up if you can if you want to scratch an itch.

Agreed. This one comes off sort of like a marketing scheme. I ordered at 7am and like you, no word from them on my cancelled order for a day or two. My local store was had no stock (1000s) before the sale. Draw the customers in with limited stock, mark it down to whatever you want, doesn't matter even if they sell below cost since their stock is so limited it doesn't make a dent. Oh well, would have been a spare for me, having the money is fine too.

Just a caution on Amazon. I have received B-stock rods sold as first quality more than once. One rod was 7 years old checking the SN.

Welcome, new account here too. I have the deeper pro (not plus model). Function wise it works well. I generally pond fish from the bank so don't use it as much as I thought. I think ideal situation for this is a smaller boat or kayak were you don't want a permanent fish finder mounted but have some easily movable mounts for it and your phone. If you are hitting the banks and usually the same areas, I think you will find you may not use it as much.

First post. I snagged a Stradic Ci4 1000 early this morning, knowing they would go fast. Seems sort of like a bait and switch (for those who don't check inventory online and get them in the door) to post this on the first page of their weekly ad with such limited stock to sell out online before lunch and mostly likely all stores by end of the day.
