  15. my son bought me a new Daiwa Tatula spinning rod, dealer finally got them in stock, so now i want to put a size 30 or maybe a 25 reel on it, i love my Daiwa reels but after my sons last Tatula reel (200 dollars) only 4 or 5 months old the anti reverse failed, he sent it back and Daiwa responded they wanted 90 bucks charge for a special lube and yada ect, so i said sand it back and i repaired it myself, so it brings me to want to try another brand, i seem to find the Legalis reels very smooth, but still want to try something different, i have a few shimano's they are ok, but still seem to see the Legalis reels are smoother, so are the Garcia's in the run for smooth spinning reels never had one in spinning, but have a few older garcia bait casters and they are great. what is the popular Garcia spinning reels these days that are smooth ect, in the 125 dollar range. chet
  16. i want to add about the Daiwa warranty, my son has a Daiwa spinning reel not sure on the model, anti reverse not working, but it was close to 200 dollars, after 4 months of use he tells me he is gonna send it in to Daiwa along with the bill of sale, Daiwa calls a week later and said the reel can be repaired for 90 dollars, i ask about the warranty, guy said special lube is needed and yada yada, so i said send it back. they did and i took it apart and it was easy got to the anti reverse bearing, i washed it with WD 40 and relubed it with CLP oil. been working fine since, i own a few daiwa spinning reels no issues yet. but i thought Daiwa gave me a runaround on this claim chet
