Yep , that is exactly what I felt and looked like last week when I was fishing at the bow of my boat went to lift up trolling motor and somehow dropped my rod into the water . I reached out as it was in the air , touched it , as it slipped my grip and .....that was the last I saw of one of my favorite rods . Failed at later recovery efforts .

Try different type lures ,this allows you to cover more water , different depths and start catching fish . Hope that helps .

Well after finally putting away all my rods after bass fishing , I now focus on putting away some of the tackle boxes that I carry on the boat . So much tackle , some of these plastics have been untouched for years . Am I odd or do others carry tackle that we will never use ?

Putting away fishing rods after bass fishing and just put away rod number 10 ..... when I was younger I carried one rod not 10 and caught fish . Any one else doing this or am I odd ?

I got nothing against people posting video on the Internet on fishing tips and and sharing their experiences online ....but those that name the exact spot where fish are caught and happens to be where I fish burns me up . What ever happened to keeping mouth shut . Talk about fishing a small lake out .

Had one of the hooks on an Alabama Rig snag one of my fingers while a fish was flopping around on one of the other hooks . I got real lucky and was able to steady fish up on a lip lock while pulling hook out of finger before it got past the barb . Learned a lesson and always control fish with pliers before getting the other hand too close .

This will work ..attach a Keitech Swim Impact Fat 2.8 inch to a Strike King Tour Grade Swim Jig #590Sexy Shad . Cast and feel bottom , then Slowly even slower than that reel a few times then 2 real quick turns of reel handle and let jig drop back to bottom . Stop and try to focus on any slight bass activity on jig at this time . After about a minute repeat . The bite will most often come when jig is just sitting there doing nothing . Try it ..should work .
