We have a 99 Javelin Renegade. Its black metallic flake....we gave it a really good wax last year. We noticed after a few times out this year the top rail around has some sun fade/oxidation there...not horrible but enough to make me want to get it out and make it look nice. I know about wet sanding like 800-1000 grit paper? Then maybe a good marine wax? Is this the best way?

Our home lake is South Holston but thinking of going to Douglas Sunday. How are conditions there and the bite currently? Really want to get on some good bass. We were on them at Holston and then the bite stopped lately.

Haha....He has a lews hypermag now is that an upgrade over that?

Hi guys, so yes I was the one getting my BF a rod and reel for his BDAY. Well what I ordered is not here and backordered. I was getting the Lews Pro TI and a Loomis GLX rod. I have cancelled these and here is what I can get from my local shop or BP. What do you think, trying to get top of the line as possible without taking out a loan lol....He currently has a Lews Reel and Cashion Rod wanted something a step up from that....I can still get the Lews and Loomis setup I would just have to drive 1.3 hours to get from another bass pro. Im gonna go ahead and hop on and ask ONE more question! He will be going to fish the Chick in July and they will be ledge fishing. I know he already has a lot of lures. But what might be a few lures I could pick up for this type of fishing?

Will the lews pro ti be a decent upgrade over what he has right now? And yes this has been awesome help! AND if I go with the G Loomis Rod - which size and weight? He is taking a trip to the Chick in July and want him to have a nice setup for that!
