  1. Do you know if they do B2B at all and ship to ON, Canada?
  2. Rage Swimmer or Kietech Impact 2.8/3.3's for swimbaits - the baby Rage Craw or Menace can be a good craw trailer too for Smallmouth!
  3. When I watched the promo reel for this I honestly thought maybe it was a late April Fool's joke. I don't know about you guys but with my gear, the less electronics the better... (aside from boat accessories of course) At that price point the new Tatula 100 with Hyperdrive will outperform the iReel, especially in longevity, and it will cost way less - that Tatula may as well be called the baby Steez.
  4. Apparently I lied, created an account in 2020.... but I do remember first finding the site in 2012!
  5. Hey everyone, It's probably been about 8-10 years since I last posted on here, it's good to see these forums still around! I'm looking at potentially servicing reels and with that, I am looking for a reputable source to purchase quality bearings from (b2b). If you have any feedback or reviews on certain branded bearings I would also like to hear those! Thank you in advanced!
  6. I will share with you when I use braided line and maybe it will help you, or possibly others. FinesseGenics basically covered the whys, so I’ll just give you personal experience. I use braid on my spinning reels as I find its much easier to use as it doesn’t coil up, comes off of the spool very nicely which gives you much better casting, and it’s very sensitive because of the no stretch. I use 10lb - 20lb braid and then tie on a fluoro for most of my spinning applications like wacky rigging, shaky heads, weightless Texas rigs. However I won’t use the leader for top water baits that are to light to throw on a casting reel. If they are treble hook too water baits I set the drag a little looser so I don’t rip the hooks out of the bass’s mouth and I’ve found a lot of success in that - not everyone does but I have. I personally use Fluorocarbon for basically everything but top water and I use a backing of mono for about half of my spools on casting. Just the cheapest 5-600yd spool of mono I can find that way I’m not spending or wasting money on the expensive Fluoro respooling line that didn’t even get used.
  7. Personally, I’ve been buying 1000yd spools ranging from 12lb-20lb Red Label Fluorocarbon. When I’m using moving baits like Cranks, Squares, rattle-traps, spinnerbaits etc I’ll use 12-15lb and tie them on with a SAN Diego Jam Knot and I’ve had no issues unless I’m hung up real good.
  8. That’s the thing - it’s not slipping. It actually acts as if the breaks are on the spool all the way giving it the rough and gritty feel which it shouldn’t. It should be doing exactly as you said slipping. I try to take the utmost care for my reels so I’m trying to find the issue so that it doesn’t get worse if it were too.
  9. They are facing each other properly and were also before I tore it down. It’s very weird and I’ve never come across this issue with the drag nearly or fully off. Just feels very gritty or as if the bearings are blown but crank the drag down half or full way and it’s perfectly fine. With all of my other Revo’s I can have the drag anywhere and the spool will still spin very freely like they should.
  10. Hey all, It’s almost time for bass season here in Southern Ontario, bought a new fleet of St.Croix rods and pulled my Revo’s out to get everything cleaned up and I noticed on one of my Revo S’s ( always stored with drag completely off ) that when I went to crank it, it felt off and very sluggish as if there was resistance. I tore the reel down, cleaned it up and reapplied some grease while also cleaning and wiping the drag washers dry and I’m still having the issue.. When the drag is cranked down 1/2 way to full it goes like a dream but 1/4 or less and it’s just sluggish and will not spin whatsoever where my other Revo S has no issues whatsoever. does anyone have any clue or recommendations?
