New member, just started fishing last month when NYC was pretty much shut down by Covid. Im a chef so there ain't no working for me currently. Decided to pick up fishing to keep me busy since I live in walking distance to the only Lake in Brooklyn w/ Freshwater fishing - Mostly bass, panfish, some carp, maybe a catfish or pickerel here or there. Lake never gets re stocked, heavily pressured, so the bite is tough. Fishing solo, no knowledge prior, learning on the fly and already hooked. I have a microlight setup, a decent spinning setup and just hit the lake with a bait casting setup today and got 2 of my Personal Bests. Looking for further knowledge since I try to figure everything out via youtube and instinct, happy to be part of this community.
