  1. I’m doing the Seibert swim jig but I feel like I want something specifically for cover.
  2. Trying to choose between the Seibert Outdoors Dredge Jig and the Gamechanger Lures Trashmaster for a heavy cover jig. Any preference either way?
  3. Maybe that is it. I usually use a 3/0 with 4/14 stick baits (which is the length of the Wooly Bug), but maybe it’s different with creature baits.
  4. So I tried the Wooly Bug out with the Tokyo Rig (if you don’t know the Tokyo Rig, all you need to know is it involves Texas rigging the bait). The Wooly Bug seemed to not want to stay weedless in the hook tip. I was using a 3/0 hook. Is it the bait, or something I’m doing?
  5. Would I be able to get away with using a 6’ 10” MH Rod for jigs up to 3/4oz, weighted Texas rigs up to 3/4oz, Tokyo rig up to 3/4oz... bottom stuff like that in light to moderate cover (not thick mats)? I’m a kayak angler, and a short guy, and am thinking that a little shorter rod would be easier to manage.
