Well now maybe because I do not use PP only Sufix .. But I also must ask why would you not spool your reel tightly in the first place. Oh well at the end of the day I have never had a problem with slippage.
For right now this is a good guideline, there are going to be some tweaks to this. As it stands right now it even includes law enforcement. .....http://blog.timesunion.com/capitol/archives/176083/faq-what-does-new-yorks-new-law-do-to-my-guns/
That is provided you do not have a "drilled out spool".....All my spools are drilled hence no problem. If you do fill your spool completely remember you can just reverse the braid when it is time to change it.
Yes I throw it around docks, trees, bogs and into trees etc with a sidearm sorta underhand cast(a lot of wrist action) so the bait kind of slides into the water. Then I will also let it rip with a overhead cast to let sail into open water. My belief is the shorter rod just loads up with a little more flex and allows the bait to go.......I know that a longer rod is supposed to be the ticket for distance but this is not the only contradiction I have in my arsenal.
I have two spinnerbait setups they are extra fast action with medium power and are rated for 3/8 oz.-1/2oz baits. One is 6'9" and the other is 6'3" and my first choice is always the 6'3". They also have the same reels on them and the 6'3" just all around performs better.
I use the standard RG on all my rods and dumped the NRX issued cover for a RG as well. I use mine while traveling in the vehicle ,on the boat or while being stored at home without any problems.
Here is how you can reach them, either way if you have any concerns contact Jim and voice them. He is great to do business with and I have no affiliation with RG just one very satisfied consumer......

This really sucks...A guy over on another site posted the article on BPS FaceBook and they knocked it down immediately. I guess they did not like his sense of humor.
The sticker on the cork has never been a problem for me...Just so you know they are all like that, does not matter if it is GLX, NRX, IMX etc. etc.etc....
The funny thing is you thought you were getting a new ride when all you were doing was giving it a test drive.......Most important thing is like you said your wife is Happy. One more thing they all have a method to their madness as well.
