Can someone direct me to anyone I can contact about gaining access for one day? The reason I am trying to get in touch with someone, is my father recently passed away and I am looking to spread some of his ashes here. He always called this place heaven and I think it would be appropriate to do this for him. My father was a member there for years and I grew up fishing this lake. At one point it was arguably the best lake in the country for bass over 10lbs. To my knowledge, the largest bass caught was 18lbs 01 once and surprisingly was caught from the little lake. Unfortunately the lake was miss managed and all of the middle fish were taken out leaving just small and large fish. I do remember the best pattern for the big bass was in the timber. There are 4-5 creek channels that feed towards the dam. The larger fish use these as highways to get to the flats areas. I remember being on trips where for weeks, the smallest bass that was caught was 4lbs. I have personally seen a dozen or more bass caught over 10lbs. My fathers best here was 15lbs 03 oz.
