  1. Just picked up a curado 200e7 off market place for a steal ! Probably going to throw 50 lb braid on it and use it for buzzbait toads and open water frogs. What rod do you guys use for those applications? Preferably under $150 and 7'3" is max length for my liking. Color match isn't that important but it is a plus. Thank you
  2. Yep I believe you are right . Thank you, thats one place I didn't look.
  3. My fishing buddy and I were wondering if anyone knows what buzzbait this is. Its feels like it is maybe 5/16 oz but not sure. I have been having really good luck with it and want to buy a back up. Thanks
  4. Would the falcon expert Headturner be a good light texas rig rod? I mainly pitch 3/16 - 3/8 oz soft plastic into light cover i was just wondering how this rod would do? Everything i see is they like the Headturner for moving single hook baits. I have the lowrider flippin stick which was a little too long for me to pitch and it was a little stout for my liking so i use it as my frog rod now. I love falcons so i was considering moving up to the expert line. Thank you!
  5. I was just wondering how the champion xp compares to the sierra line specifically the 704c ? I have a sierra 704c that i absolutely love for a do it all rod but want something with a little bit more tip and backbone for pitching . How do the blanks compare??? Thank you
  6. I picked up a new falcon lowrider spinning rod on blackfriday. Anyone have any time on the water with this rod? I really enjoy my lowrider casting rod figured this 6'10" medium spinning rod will be a great addition to my arsenal. Mainly going to be used for neds wacky worms and Finesse paddle tails.
  7. Awesome thank you!
  8. Hello everyone, On my last trip i some how managed to bust 2 of my guides completely off my dobyns sierra. I contacted them and they sent me replacement guides for free which was awesome. I figured i could do it myself but looking for any tricks or tips. It is the 3rd and 4th guide down from the tip . I personally dont know of anyone or any shops around me that could fix it being in western Indiana. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
  9. Are the new tatula xt rods any good for 99.99 or are the tats with the cork handle a way better rod for $50 more? Ive owned the aird x and procyon and was presently surprised so I was thinking about trying a little higher end model. looking to get spinning and casting rods in either line
  10. Looking for a new jig and worm rod. Does anyone have experience with either the dobyns kaden 714 or the powell endurance 7'2" Heavy? Very similar specs on both rods but i dont have any where local to get my hands on either one. Thank you
  11. Finally upgraded to a boat so im wanting to add maybe 1 or 2 rods to my line up since ill have more room. So currently i have 1. 7ft MHF Falcon lowrider for texas rigs and light jigs 2. 6'10 MHMF Falcon lowrider for top water/ squarebills 3. Dobyns sierra 704 for chatterbait spinnerbaits swim jigs and small swimbaits 4. Dobyns sierra 703s for all Finesse 5. 7ft Ark lancer MHF for frogs and toads Thank you
  12. Awesome! Thank you fellas
  13. Hi everyone, im in the market for a new T rig, jig , and paddle tail rod and ive had my eye on the falcon lowrider. Not sure on which one to get though, im torn between the 7 foot MHF and the 7ft H. I know falcons run a little softer than most other brands so thats why im curious. My old rod was a MH 1/4 - 1oz and the MH lowrider is 1/4 - 3/4 and the H is 3/8 - 1oz. Mainly throw 3/16 - 3/8 t rigs, 3/8 jigs , and 1/4 swimbaits.
  14. I have the lowrider 6 10 heavy and i initially bought it for the same purpose but it has became my spinnerbait chatterbait rod. It had way more bend to it than what i expected when i ordered it . Love the rod though, cant go wrong with falcon
  15. Just personally to me it felt a little spongey on the hookset. Sorry i should have explained it better however it loads up amazingly on my moving baits, i love that rod for those applications
