i have used both hooks... and my favorite hooks are the owner Mosquito hooks. The trick to what i do is to smash the barb down, so that it's easier to get the hooks out. as far as worms i dont use the Oring because i use Zoom Finesse worms in watermenlon/red or anything with a red flake in it

yeah to me killing a trophy fish just to hang in on you wall is wrong. Now if the fish dies in during the figh (which has happened) then i think you should do what ever you want with the fish. But dont kill the poor thing, just take as many pics as you can and have that warm feeling inside when you see him swim away...

LOL... yeah my girlfriens name is Madonna. She means the world to me. Shes really nice, and like john said just someone you wanna be around.... But i got a funny story about her name. I took her to my school to meet a few people and as we were walking through the front office, she met the ***. Principle Ms white. I introduced them and she started laughing and says," i thought you said her name is madonna", "her name is madonna" she just starts laughing and saying shes sorry at the same time. I just had to laugh and we still laugh about it today. But she is the best, she wants me to fish and do well. So i go out and give it my all every weekend for her.... from 20degree mornings to 80degree days with 40mph winds and pouring down rain.

thats just reminded me. Believe me or not but i was fishing off the Bay Bridge in Va Beach. We stayed all night with a few of our friends and about around 6am, our rod went off, then another, then another. We grab the poles and satr fighting. Then we notice that wour lines are hooked together and moving. We start grabbing line and pulling the fish up to the deck. it was a 30-40lb Stingray that had 3 hooks in his mouth and a hook in his eye. So i just grab the knife and start cutting line and grabbed the pliers and take all the hooks out and push him back into the water.... That was a fun night!!

i would find out what there feeding on a go from there. If its crawfish, throw a jig or tube. If there busting shad on the top i like a Sammy or a Splash-it. Then if that fails throw a jerkbait or a crankbait.

has anybody caught a bass twice in the same day? I have he broke off in a pond at my feet with my crankbait in his mouth, so i swiched to a yum dinger and felt a tap, set the hook and here he come splashing in. I know i got my crankbaiot back... has that happened to anybody eles???

well i would use a wacky rigged finess worm, a shakey head in the bed, or a jig. All of these will catch those fish just throw it in there and shake it and look for white. Ounce you see white set the hook. The white is the inside if that fishes mouth as it sucks you bait in. I have a blast with this on the Hot Side of lake anna, catching 50-70 bass a day. Good luck
