appreciate that, i was debating grabbing either a 4x4 or toxic wnc for a crankdown. most of the lakes i fish are very weedy and shallowish as well, in the pocono mountains. the g2 shellcracker intrigued me too because most of the forage is gill, although i do spend a good amount of time fishing a deep reservoir with minimal weeds. theres too many baits to get too little cash lol.
I'm still trying to piece together a beginner lot. What are some of your guys absolute must haves, everyone says bullshad; which ones? slow sink, 4x4, bullgill, wake etc. I'm trying to get one lure for each type wake, crank down, soft for bottom creeping, and a glide. as well as anything else im not thinking of
i see you guys all fish marsh creek a lot. im thinking about driving down there to fish off the shore today or tomorrow. is it even worth my time without a kayak? i forget how much good shore access there is. and im definitely down for a meet up after this all blows over, ill have my boat up at green lane res
For sure man things fly out like a bullet. main thing for me is I can’t buy a bite 90% of the time outside of the spawn. Puts a bunch of fish in a small area lol
They’ll be spawning soon enough. Can’t wait for this virus to blow over to chase some hogs again! Anyone else fish the various creeks of the philly burbs?
Anyone here ever fished springton reservoir in media? Heard it’s great but illegal. Apparently on Sunday’s the fish police don’t work though. Having a tough time finding any viable spots with everything shut down
@JediAmoeba and to think I almost took a trip up there this weekend to get away from all the craziness near Philly. Think I’ll wait a couple weeks and let things warm up a bit.
