There's a point off the entrance to the dock on a local lake that always draws a number of bank fisherman. If I can't catch a bass there, I generally will boat someone's lure ?
I'd also speculate it needs a larger hook size. You noted there's a slot in the bottom of the hookbaits. That is a very tall piece of plastic. FWIW, my swimbaits run best with the bottom weight hanging free, not enclosed by the slot which would limit a proper hookset. YMMV.
True, permanent means permanent, which is why I use it on my aluminum G3 for mounting transducer brackets, etc. But for the record, I have been able to remove individual screws that had 5200 on the threads. Never had to resort to an impact driver, but YMMV, so....be forewarned.
Unfortunately I must have a short attention span...I usually get bored with it long before I find out it works ?
I always have one rigged on deck but I have caught a total of one on it, and that one I spotted first on HB Live Imaging in some brush.
They used to require you ship just a few-inch section with the model # info. The last time they just required emailing a photo of the model # area and the breakage. ?
Lews has a fairly generous replacement policy for breakage, though not a good as it used to be. Keep calling and, depending on when you bought it, you might be able to replace it for a much-reduced price.
I think they now have only one person answering the customer service phone line. Don't wait on hold. Keep dialing until you get through. This worked for me the last time I contacted them.
In the past, I've gotten replacements for a fee even admitting the breakage was an accident and my fault.
