After a little training it laid over Punisher also had the 2 wire variety. What is you guys thoughts comparing the wire type to bristles?

How about this nearly vertical brush guard compared to the angle of the one below it? It’s the only one they sent in this condition. Wrong angle and wasn’t trimmed. Perhaps a new worker. Here’s a 2nd Punisher with a guard extending to the point.

I have an unopened pack of them in white that looks like it came from the 1970’s. I’m letting them age til the right time ?

Oh sure it’s a pocket sized kit but show us the mothership that it came from!!! Bet you got several rooms worth ? I have a set of Buck Perry Spoon Plugs or look alikes that came in a used tackle box. I think there is 5 or 6 all in different sizes.

I got 3 hours in this evening and was underdressed for it. Temp got around 42 but the wind was 15-20mph and no gloves made it bad. I threw a Cordell Spot, a X-Rap and a rogue for an hour with no takers. Those X-Raps suspend and work beautifully! I went to my box to tie on a Megabass 110 and instead grabbed the hair jig and it was like daylight and dark difference. The first 2 casts with the hair jig was 2 bass on. I hooked 7 and ended up getting 5 of them in. Single digits nights for next weekend is forecasted so I’m not sure if I’ll get to try it then or not. The weather forecast can change a lot in a weeks time. The Kingfisher jig I’ve been using and a box of Punishers I just got today. Looking forward to trying the Punisher jigs in the coming weeks.

It’s currently 38 degrees, a bit windy and some cloud cover is supposed to move in during the next hour. I’m about to have my last session as single digits are in next weeks forecast. About to go jerkbait the evening away at a pond. My first post front December try at it.

Oh I love me some neatness and organization to lures. Good man AJay. I have used rubber bands in the past. I need to get on it on a grander scale. What do you think, if it’s a day when the fish are just nipping at the lure and coming up short on the bite then is that the only critical time when a brand new un thrown hook would be needed? I didn’t get the specifics but I heard of a time when Takahrio Amori would make 20-30 casts with a lure and change hooks? Why?what was goin on there? Again just overthinking I assume? I get stuff like that on my mind and it really bothers me and I can’t forget it ?

I see so many Plano boxes with piles of lures tangled together. Am I overthinking it that those hooks are gonna dull? After all it is a plastic box with plastic or wood lures. The only danger will be from other hooks and split rings to the needle point of our hooks. Anyways, it makes me cringe. I have a habit of replacing my lures hooks to Owner rings and hooks and then add hook covers but I see so many that don’t bother. And like I said this is just to my newest lures that replacing them is recommended for. Today Bass Geek and Randy Blaukat both shown boxes of lipless lures in wads. In tangles! Have you discovered an easier way to keep lures separated and hooks in best condition?

My pistol grip rod was broke in half too. Was really looking forward to trying the old time pistol grip. Oh well it’s just $20

I discovered that when I was a kid! I’d be dragging a Zoom trick worm and when it would be coming across the top of thick algae and vegetation it would get whacked by a bass!! I went to fly poppers and anything I could find that was light enough to go across the top and not fall through. I’d love to find that scenario again and get to play with some bass that way. It was more exciting than regular topwater hits.

Did you order multiples of lures or are they just kicking out random orders now?
