  1. My first spool of Berkley vanish was the best thing ever. And the second one was just as great. It had just came out and I loved it. The following year I stocked up on it. Big mistake. It just wasn't the same.
  2. Thanks for the info. I original wanted a larger rod but I'm driving a sedan. It seems to me like the 746 is going to be my best option and i'll combo it with the 744.
  3. I'm about to buy a few Dobyn heavy rods but I had a question. I know for sure I'm going to get the 746c for heavy cover and throwing jigs at that 1 oz mark. It's the second rod that I'm having trouble with. I'm trying to decide between the 744 and the 745. What I want know is how does the 746 do with swimbaits or jigs at the 3/4 mark? If it does this will then I'll grab the 744. If not, I might be better served with the 745. I don't mind spending a minute or two to change out my setup when needed. I do already have 4 other rods. A light action st croix legend that I use up to 1/4. The 733 extreme that so far has served me well. Another st croix that works in the same range as the 733 dobyn. Lastly a dobyn crankbait rod. Those are the 4 I use the most. I use to be a medium heavy to medium casting guy. But now the cover in all my favorite areas is changing. I wanted to try something new with all the sales that are now going on.
