  1. I have had multiple negative experiences with saltwater Okuma rod and reels.
  2. You can target them all over the country (and world). Endless ways to target them including many presentations (topwater, bottom, ect). Often times the most fun fish to target depending on the body of water. Targeting them is like a massive puzzle no matter where you are. Finally any skill level can have fun targeting bass.
  3. Loon calls Bluegill pops Songbirds Ravens Bass topwater explosions Dragonflies Pure silence Sometimes the sounds of dogs, music, people, and cars in the distance is comforting on mostly silent days. Especially in fall and winter.
  4. Thanks a bunch. This definitely points me in the right direction.
  5. The first weekend of October im dedicating both days to nothing but attempting to put a tiger in the boat. The lake in question is Newman Lake which is about a mile from Idaho I believe. The lake itself is not the largest, and I'm pretty sure the whole thing can be fished in two days. The lake hosts a few bays as well as lots and lots of docks for cover. I'm not sure about how much aquatic cover will still be alive when I arrive so currently the game plan is hitting up docks and such. As far as lures go I have a micro double cowgirl, red devil spoons, micro bulldawg, Classic dressed Mepps #5, and a smaller "Mcglide" type bait plus other random swimbaits as well as the gear to handle them. I also have a large landing net and gear for hook removal. This body of water is stocked with Tigers often so there are most definitely fish to be caught. A Lot are caught just by bass fishing. Other fish / prey in the lake include largemouth, crappie, bluegill, perch, rainbow and brook trout. I'm willing to take any information regarding these fish, especially from the esox guys! Thank you!
  6. Spinner baits, texas rigs, weightless rigged stick bait.
  7. I love Alt and Nu-metal. Limp bizkit, Korn, System Of A Down, ect. Im lucky enough to be able to see Korn, P.O.D and Evanescence live in a few days!
  8. All of it. Currently living in a abandoned car at the boat launch.
  9. My largest bass was caught on a Googan Hummer, My second was caught on a whopper plopper. Big girls like it on topwater.
  10. Easily my favorite trailer.
  11. Renting a house boat, thank you for the info.
  12. Hello, I am going to Lake Powell for spring break and was interested in catching largemouth, smallmouth, striper, and northern pike as well as catfish. I was wondering if any angler who has had success at Powell have any lure and technique tips on how to catch any of these species? Thanks.
  13. Pliers. Puffin clouds and rippin lips.
  14. Hello, I am going on a trip to Crystal River Florida in a few weeks and is looking for some tips lure wise for inshore species like redfish and snook. So far I have popping corks, Berkley gulp minnows and shrimp, and a spoon and popper. Is their any other lures I should pick up? And how and where should I fish them? I have a medium heavy 7 foot Penn Fierce lll LE paired with 20 pound Berkley big game mono is this sufficient? Any help is appreciated.
  15. Absolutely. I don't mind catching trout at all, in fact im planning on specifically targeting them trolling this weekend.
